OrangeDudeMan How do I use just modem feature of a 2 in 1 wireless router? - OrangeDudeMan I have a Netopia 3000 2 in 1 router. It has a dsl modem and a wireless router with Lan ports built in. I also have a Linksys wireless WRT54GS router I would like to use to output my wireless. How do I setup the Netopia 3000 router so that it acts as just a modem and not a router so I can use my Linksys router to host the PPOE connection and connect to the internet through the Linksys router?
Best Answer: Just disable Wireless on Netopia. If you cannot do that, then setup a password on both routers and use the one you want. DSL Cable into Netopia, Lan cable between Netopia & Linksys. - Sirex
