Question about mounting speakers on the wall? - Nesha J i recently purchased 4 TSI 200 Polk Audio speakers. I thought that bookshelves meant you could either mount them on the wall or put them on shelves. Well apparently this model doesnt have any holes on the back for mounting them on the wall (which is what i really needed). I cant take them back to the store because i lost my receipt! They wont even do an exchange! Is there any other method of mounting speakers on the wall if your speakers doesnt come with keyholes or something for mounting them? Buying stands or shelves is OUT of the question i have no room for them in my appt =( i really would like to keep these speakers. They have pretty good reviews. But if i cant find anyway around for mounting them then i guess im screwed... Any suggestions will be Appreciated so thanks in advance.

Best Answer: Bookshelf speakers are just that - speakers you set on a shelf. They aren'tmade to mount to a wall with a bracket, as they are usually pretty heavy and don't have mounting hardware attached like true satellites do. In that case, you have to mount small shelves on the wall and set the speakers on those. You shouldn't try to mount anything that doesn't have mounting hardware built into it. - Paul in San Diego

Most mounting brackets come with small screws that can be screwed into the back of your speaker some will also come with double sided sponge tape that will stick to the back in addition to the small screws. Also there are mounting brackets that go underneath the speaker and hold it from the bottom...you could also use wall mounted book shelves placed up high and out of the way... - Lance

I WOULD MOUNT MINI SHELVES TO THE WALL AND PLACE THE SPEAKERS ON THE SHELVES YOU MIGHT ALSO GOOGLE UNIVERSAL SPEAKER MOUNTS AND SEE IF SOMETHING COMES UP YOU COULD USE - Cableguy
