Best Answer: when you first plug it in, the unit will attempt to boot up. This will happen every time it's plugged in. It should last for about 50 seconds, then quit the rapid green led blinking. It is now ready to turn on. If you have an older model with the last digits of the model number 525, 725 or 825 and the blinking never stops, then I'm sorry to tell you that the board that is need is no longer available. Sometimes capacitors are needed, but this is extremely rare. - megan n
