i am trying to open a port on my computer but for some reason can't get it open. help? - chimera667 i am running windows xp. for security software i have lavasoft ad-aware, symantic endpoint protection, and spybot search and destroy. my router is a Netopia Model 3347-02 AnnexA, and the program i am trying to open port to is utorrent. ur probably gonna need more detail but i am a noob so i don't know what kind of detail u need. tell me and i can get it.

Best Answer: You need to open the ports up in your Symantec firewall, you should be able to tell the software to allow inbound and outbound for utorrent. - Chris C
