Question and Answers

Macbook External HDD? - I'm looking into purchasing a macbook, not the silver one, the white one. In replacement of my Dell Lollipop laptop, which has slowly managed to pack in on me after only 6 months of having it. Mainly my own fault though through repeatedly dropping the thing, and banging it when its running slow. My main question is, will a macbook support ANY external USB2.0 Hard-drive (External)? Or do i have to get one of them ones from apple, which funnily enough cost a WHOLE lot more.. Any answers would be appreciated. Just for a guideline and help. Thankyouuuu.
Best Answer: No, its a normal computer. Any usb drive will be fine. I use one of those mybook 1 terabyte harddrives I got on sale at best buy with my macbook. I dont know where this "apple products only work with apple products" crap came from. Someone earlier came on and asked if he had to buy an apple printer with a mac. Apple does not even make printers. Any printer will work. - macdudeosx
