John A JVC AV-32D202 not displaying 480i correctly? - John A Now I recently have come to own a used JVC AV-32D202, and I also have a Wii with component output. However, when I try setting the Wii to 480i instead of 480p, the image gets messed up. The left side of the image shows up on the right side of the screen and vice-versa. I tried using different cables and devices that support this resolution on this TV, but the problem remains the same. Is my TV damaged or is this resolution/output mode (EDTVHDTV) just not supported?
Best Answer: Why aren't you using the 480P output on your Wii for the Component inputs on your TV set? 480i should only be used with the 3 wire COMPOSITE connections.... - TV Tech 1
