Do Apple stores offer iPhone REPAIRS? - Do the Apple stores offer iPhone repairs? Because I need a back replacement for my 3g as well as a new battery because mine doesn't last more than a day. Of course I'd have to pay for this, though I want to know.

Yeah, but their prices are not cheap, and some Apple Stores are very tricky on labor cost also. I hate to say this but I'd seriously consider going to a different Apple store besides a general Apple store. Reason being: My MacBook was acting up and I took it over to the Apple store to have it repaired, but with labor and part etc the repairs would be over a thousand dollars. So I simply searched for a different type MAC store that was authorized by Apple to offer the same service, and I only payed $175, and they fixed all my problems, and they told me to watch out for the Apple Store because in some cases they try to rip you off in Repairs. There's nothing wrong with the Apple Store, but if they try to offer you ridiculous labor rates and part prices, just know there is another option. - Mark D

They will repair or replace your handset if the below mentioned conditions are met: 1) Your iPhone should not be Jail Broken i.e. HACKED 2) If you are facing the problem of battery not lasting long, may be an issue of push function or wifi. The more push applications are turned on, more battery will be consumed. 3) You need to check with the apple store and let them know that you don't want them to upgrade your mobile to the newer version (if you want to stick with the older version). Currently, iphone has been upgraded to 3.1.2 version. And if your handset is Jailbroken already, you dont want to upgrade it the the latest version or else you will never be able to unlock it again for using with other service providers. ;) Cheers - Vishal
