I have windows 7. In sony vegas i downloaded a avi anime episode. I have DIVX, but only audio shows? - Ely Ok I just bought me a new laptop. Windows 7. 64 bit. I have sony vegas pro 9.0, and DIVX. and I downloaded a anime episode in avi. and it shows when i click on it. but then when i put it in sony vegas, only the audio shows. WHy? I have divx

Best Answer: Hi Ely, just letting you no i had this problem also and its very simple to fix. Also this question has been answered several times already on yahoo, and there is tutorials all over youtube and google to fix this so next time have a better search for the answer before you post a question on yahoo. Here is what you do: Download the MJPEG Codec and XViD Codec. I included a youtube video with full instructions on how to fix this problem watch it after you have downloaded the codec's If for some reason this doesn't work (very unlikely) then convert the file to a Sony vegas supported file: WMV, MPG (MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4), MP4 or MOV. (just download a free converter from google) or use movie maker to convert to wmv. Montagical and dilonp23 have some great sony vegas tutorials, that will be a lot of help to you :) Hope this helps, thanks - Paddy
