my cells keep displaying 0? -

In microsoft excel i have used the formula =sum(b12:b26) and when theres nothing in the cells it displayes 0 because that is the sum of nothing obviously. But how do i get it to display the cell blank when theres nothing in cells b12:b26 thanks
- Best Answer: =IF(SUM(B12:B26)=0,"",SUM(B12:B26)) Or, for Excel2003 and prior, go to Tools > Options and select the 'View' tab. Under Window options, remove the check mark from 'Zero values' - garbo7441
