Deepblue i cant copy my pictures to cd? - Deepblue Hi i am using a pc with microsoft software. I tried copying my pictures to cd following the help tutorials guidelines. I select the folder to copy. Click 'copy to' in the left hand column of my pictures; and then click the cd drive icon on the list of places to copy to in the pop up. What happens then is that a dialogue box thingy appears saying "cannot create or replace; the requested resource is in use"
Best Answer: It sounds as if you don't have the required microsoft programme on your comp to actually make a CD. Download the free picassa 3 programme http://picasa.google.com/ import your photos, and then you can create your CD. Picassa has the option to add music, include a slide show and includes a viewer with your photos so you can take the CD with you and use it on any computer. - cpcards
Don't copy the whole folder. Select all the pictures you want to copy. (Use left mouse click for the first and left mouse click for the last.) Then right click on the selection and click on copy. Then go to your CD (in My Computer) and open it. Then right click and Paste. - steve_loir
You need a third party programme like Record Now or any cd burning prog..if you go to cnet downloads you will find a few free downloads there..You need to open the prog..and go to add files and folders..then enter the folder (or pics) you need to burn..put your writable cd in the drive and hit the burn button...job done - johnboy
