Verizon Wireless.......? - Richie B I have the LG Dare. I've had it since August of 2008. I got it with a 2 year contract. I've been having some problems with it and am looking to get a new phone. Would they let me get the Motorola Droid? Or do I have to wait until my contract is up?

Best Answer: it depends...my dares kept breaking...I had four in all and finally they just gave me a new phone..but for you they will probably just give you a replacement. - Dude

Even though you haven't finished your 2-year contract, I have heard of Verizon giving other types of deals that would allow an upgrade at earlier times. I'm not sure how it works, as I've never done it. Give them a call though. You might be surprised at what kinds of deals they have, but don't advertise. It never hurts to ask. - mikeynavy1

if you want the droid, you'll have to buy it full price since your 2 year contract isn't up. if you wait, you can get it for $149.99 online, or $199.99 from the store. - monokurobou
