What’s surround sound?

Surround sound uses multiple speakers to create an immersive experience. What's the 5.1, 6.1, or 7.1 mean? It's the number of speakers plus one subwoofer.

What's a subwoofer?

The sub gives you that rumbling bass sound. Keep in mind some subs are better for home theater than music and vice versa.
