What’s an HDTV?

It's a TV that can display high-definition digital video. If it has an HD tuner built-in, it can also receive HD broadcast programming signals.

How big should I go?

This one is tough. Your TV should deliver the right-size picture for where you'll sit in relation to the screen. Closer to the TV, smaller the screen.

Why get a plasma or LCD?

These HDTVs are thin and light, even with big screens. They're a good option for those without a lot of space for a set.
