Great mutimedia desktop replacement02/02/05

I compared several laptops before buying the G15. This was money well spent. The display is beautiful, large and brite. The feature set is excellent. Built in TV tuner, DVD/CD burner, 100 gig combined hard drive space, and speakers you have to hear to believe, especially for a laptop. Windows media center 2005 and built in wireless and wired networking, what else could you ask for?

Terrible battery life (keep the charger and AC outlet in your sight. Could and should be much, much better.

Also being able to use the multimedia features, DVD, TV, CD player, without booting to the operaitng system is very well conceived.
