2-3 blocks coverage at best...05/07/09

Pros:
Small, light, simple, cheap
Cons:
lack of coverage at distance

In summary, I tested 3 times these units and from 2 blocks on with windows up and down the coverage disappeared quickly. Would like work well with line of sight, but does not work well with any kind of obstructions between the units. Go with short wave radio HAM if you need real coverage.
