An expensive alternative to a normal picture frame. This was a great gift for my grandmother. I loaded all of my pictures into the frame and she was good to go.

Spending the extra few hundred dollars on this HD DVD player was worth it for me...the picture quality is great on my HD TV. If your strapped for cash I wouldn't recommend splurging for the high price tag.
