Ink Is Too Expensive02/29/08

Ink is way too expensive.

I bought this printer to replace my cannon multi F50. I was really excited to have this printer until I had to replace the ink cartridges. They put a chip on the cartridges so you can only use Cannon Ink Cartridges; you can't refill the cartridges, because the chip will recognize that and make the cartridge useless. The ink goes very fast...You could easily spend $200 + a year on ink. I decided to junk this printer and buy a Brother instead. The ink is cheaper and you can use off brand ink if you choose too.
