Decent for Cheap...01/27/07

Pros:
Nice pictures, lots of fetures, easy to use, good on batteries
Cons:
shutter lag, built cheap, doesn't turn on sometimes, software is slow!

I bought this camera when on vacation in Florida. It worked great for a few years, always took nice snap shots. Unfortunately the shutter lag on this camera makes it near impossible to take shots you only have a second to take. After about 2 years of use it randomly stopped working on me. I tried all the trouble shooting that was listed, check the magnetic switch, non of the above.

So it leaves me to the conclusion if you want a fairly cheap easy digital camera, it's not a bad option. But its not top of the line obviously, and its built pretty cheaply so you have to be careful with it.

I don't regret the purchase, and am buying another HP digital cam to replace it that is a few models up, and a few years newer,
