Since the previous reviews were clearly all written by the same person, I thought it would be fair to put in an unbiased review.
I use this scanner to scan images that are reproduced in my full-color, professionally printed magazine. I find that the quality is *more* than adequate for this purpose, which is amazing considering what the unit costs.
I haven\'t had any problems with it, other than perhaps the software is a little difficult to use (not very self explanatory). I\'ve used the copy feature with no problems, the scan to file with no problems, and the negative/slide scanning feature works great. As for the software being "too large," as the previous poster said, it sounds like he is probably using older equipment. Modern machines usually have an excess of 20 GIG, which is plenty of room for this software and anything else you want to run at the same time. And, if you\'re using older equipment, I\'m betting that you may have difficulty running this software just based on that. Happens all the time.
