Look, picture quality, ease of use

I purchased this tv two weeks ago. I compared to the Panasonic series plasmas. I chose this set over the panasonic because of the jet back professional appearance of this set versus the silver cabinet of the pansonic. Both pictures are remarkably the same. The speakers on this set are hidden, their sound is ok, but a home theatre system enhances the sound nicely. I am still using an analog signal but can tell you the picture is fantastic and when using a quality DVD playerand home theatre system, you will feel like you just paid your cinema ticket! Since this set was destined for the Master Bedroom, I wasn't influenced by 1080 versus 720P sets that the sales reps were pushing, I did however buy the extended warranty incase of screen burn-in. Samsung is supposed to have auto screen contols on this set tp prevent it from happening, so far, so good. love the set!
