Pros: this is an awesome phone if you like to text message or email. It is almost exactly the same as the Nokia 6200 but with the flipping keyboard. It has polyphonic ring tones, downloadable games, speakerphone, voice activated dialing, and a pretty good battery life.
Cons: because they want it to be compatible with a data cable, the headset jack is wide and very easy to break. the flipping keyboard takes some getting used to and is the main reason you would get this phone, (if you don't use that feature then it is just a big ugly bulky thing)
Overall: The 6800 is a cool phone, if you are a business person you can use it almost like a blackberry (without outlook/lotus notes) it has many of the newest features, one thing that would top this phone off would be BLUETOOTH.

Has great service on AT&T's network. (they don't sell it anymore though, check on ebay)
Pros: You would have a hard time breaking it, all construction workers need a phone like this one. The ring tones are loud and consist of low tones so people who have a hard time hearing low pitches should not have a problem hearing this phone. Very easy to use and navigate through menu's, great battery life (about 4 hours of talk time and 8 days of standby)
Cons: small buttons, small text size, can't connect to pc, can't download ringtones or anything actually.
Overall: it's main purpose is to not break, this has to be the most durable phone out there right now, it's surprizing you can't buy it from a service provider. If you break things easily... you need this phone.

This phone is way too easy to break. Just holding it in your hand you can tell that you could just crush it. The Java is cool if you like to play games. The preset ringtones aren't that good. (who in Motorola pick those??) It seems like they tried to make this phone appealing to too many people, and it would be nice if every service provider got the one that has the digital camera attachment. Overall, not too bad. If it's under $75 then it's a good value, anything above that and you should get something else.

I have this phone and the options are incredible. It's almost like a PDA but much smaller. I can take a pict of my friends and send it to their email in about 1 minute. How cool is that? Not to mention the polyphonic ring tones and downloadable games. It is a slightly larger phone, but it's kinda nice because I can talk on my shoulder when my hands are full. There is one bad thing about this phone. If you text message a lot, you aren't going to be happy. Although it does have t9 the circular key pad is like learning text all over again. Overall great phone though.
