Nice 20" Imac10/26/06

Speedy Booting, Ease of use

Finder a bit of a chore to use

I am a recient switcher from windows. I picked an Imac because I can run Parallels on it and still us all of my old windows software.



The monitor is impressive. Setup was easy, and I am slowly getting away from my windows software to Apple software. Iphoto is great, Mail App is simple and easy to use. I still use ms office and autocad in windows. I may purchase Iworks soon.



My wife uses it most of the time just surf the net and send email.



OSX is pretty easy to use, however I do have some complaints about Finder. File Explorer gave me more options for sorting and better file information.



Installing Apps in OSX is a lot easier than Windows. Just drag it onto your desktop and its done! Want to uninstall it? Just drag it to the trash.
