I bought the original unit almost two years ago.
Just before (2 weeks before) my warranty expired, the original unit's scanner head kept jittering gack an forth. This would go on about 6-8 times a day for 30mins each time. During this time I was not able to use any of its functions. I contacted HP and was sent a refurb unit (w/ a 3 or 6 month warranty) as a replacement. ( I had to use the original for another 3 days. )

Now less than a year later, I'm encountering the SAME PROBLEM WITH THE REPLACEMENT UNIT.

I'm a small business owner, recieving/sending 10 faxes daily, printing/coping about 30 pages per day.

Currently, replacing with Panasonic UF-9000 from businessneedz.com.
