Pros:
Slick, solid picture HD and Std.
Cons:
pricey

Spent weeks doing my research with Pioneer - JVC - Pnasonic constantly found to be the best Plasma. Decided on the Pioneer 5070 - went to Best Buy to view more and found the 5071 open box, calibrated and connected to its stand - got it cheaper than the best internet price. Hardest decision was yes/no to the 4 year BB warranty for $300 ....easy setup, great sound too! Don't know how big a difference from the 5070 though which came out last July....Sony Bravia looked like the best LCD but too pricey - 42" cost as much as this 50"
