A Great Laptop!05/03/07
1 of 1 Yahoo! users found this review helpful
- Pros:
- The good: Cheaper than the MacBook Pro, with nearly comparable performance; great design; built-in Webcam and remote control; can run Windows XP via Boot Camp.
- Cons:
- The bad: No ExpressCard slot or FireWire 800; lacks media card reader; only 90 days of toll-free technical support.
The bottom line: The new MacBook, updated to Intel's Core 2 Duo CPU, compares very favorably with Apple's high-end MacBook Pro line, offering premium performance at a reasonable price.

Excellent Sound Quality...05/03/07
0 of 1 Yahoo! users found this review helpful
- Pros:
- The good: The V-Moda Bass Freq earphones are available in several stylish colors and are competitively priced at $50; they're louder than other earbuds and offer great sound quality.
- Cons:
- The bad: Music coming from the V-Moda Bass Freq earphones may be too bass-heavy for audio purists; thin cable tangles easily and may not hold up in the long run.
The bottom line: V-Moda's Bass Freq earphones are the perfect accessory for bass-loving Creative Zen Micro owners who are on a budget. If you prefer less low end, look elsewhere.

lowest-profile MP3 player we've laid eyes on02/04/07
This review has not been rated yet.
- Pros:
- The good: The competitively priced iPod Shuffle has a dead-simple user interface with satisfying tactile controls, and its integrated belt clip provides a handy way to keep track of the player. The Shuffle is available in five, metallic colors, and the package includes a cute little syncing cradle.
- Cons:
- The bad: The iPod Shuffle has no screen, so there's no way to navigate easily among artists, albums, or playlists. The player might be too small for some users, and nonstandard USB syncing takes away from its plug-and-go appeal.
The bottom line: If you like your music playback simple and your device nearly invisible, the second-generation iPod Shuffle will suit you well. But absentminded users should steer clear of this easy-to-misplace player.

Excellent for Workouts and Other Activity...01/29/07
This review has not been rated yet.
- Pros:
- The good: Sony's NW-S200 S2 Sports Walkman features a unique design and several fitness-friendly extras; it applies nifty uses of Sony's G-sensor technology; sound quality is excellent; includes an FM tuner.
- Cons:
- The bad: As usual, Sony's subpar (and required) SonicStage software sullies the experience, and there's no fitness software to help you track your progress. The included earbuds are uncomfortable and won't fit all users.
The bottom line: The NW-S200 Walkman proves once again that Sony knows what it's doing in the hardware department; fitness-minded users should take a close look at this flash MP3 player. But make sure you're comfortable with SonicStage before you commit.

Simply Amazing...01/29/07
5 of 5 Yahoo! users found this review helpful
- Pros:
- The good: The 3G-enabled Samsung BlackJack is sleek, has a gorgeous screen, and a full QWERTY keyboard. Highlights include Bluetooth 2.0, push e-mail capabilities, and good call quality. This Windows Mobile smart phone also comes with support for Cingular Video and Cingular Music services.
- Cons:
- The bad: Navigation controls are cramped, and there is no integrated Wi-Fi. Certain applications take some time to load.
The bottom line: The Samsung BlackJack heralds another 3G-enabled smart phone to Cingular's lineup. While it supports the carrier's video and music service, some design and performance issues trip up this otherwise sexy device.
