Disappointing Control Panel12/02/08

I bought J4580 for one of my friends, and to be honest, although I found the appearance of this printer very attractive, I am completely disappointed with the way its control panel is designed. I myself have HP 5610, and although the functions of my device are more or less the same as J4580 (The Fax system and Print Speeding of J4580 are better), some of the useful controlling buttons of 5610 are not available in J4580 and they are included in digital settings of the device, which make changing preferences a little difficult, specially if you do it on the device without using PC. But Compared to 5610, there are a few improvements, the feeder space for papers is much bigger, and there is “Return” button on control panel available.

I worked with different LCD monitors, and honestly I got tired of adjusting the contrast, color, resolution etc etc .. all the time as I install new operating system or when I play games. But this monitor never irritated me with those adjustments as it automatically adjusts the best image view when you run different applications on your computer. More than that, it has a good backlighting in day, and a small size driver. I like it and recommend it for home users.
