I bought this camcorder last week and it is a very good investment. I read a few "pro" reviews that bashed this camcorder pretty badly so I was weary about buying it.... Well, I took a risk and it turns out that the camcorder is excellent.... Im not a pro and im not willing to spend thousands of dollars for a pro camera. This thing is good enough for the recreational video maker. The battery life sucks for the battery that you get with it. (1hour about) so buy a JVC BN-VF733(make sure you buy a JVC one or it wont work). Other than that the camcorder is small and can hold over 7 hours of high quality video. The quality stays the same when put on dvd and the USB transfer is fast.
