Pros:
Ease of use, Ease of transition between video and photo
Cons:
Hate very short battery life, some menu selections are confusing

This is the best camera for an active family. It is very small camera which is great when you are carrying it around- but not flimsy at all. I have two small boys who want to be junior film makers and the camera feels durable enough and easy for them to use. My only complaint is that there are so many hours of recording time but the battery only last so little time. It's a plus that I have so much hardrive recording time but I hate to have to carry at least three batteries when we go out.
