This particular unit comes with a very cheap flimsy remote. Mine broke within a couple of weeks. Now for the fun part. I have not been able to find a universal remote to work this unit. I have satellite TV so I wanted to replace the remote with one that works with all my components. Sylvania customer support is no help at all. They more or less said that no universal remote will work with this unit. No one can give me a straight answer as to why a company would manufacture a tv that would not work with any universal remote controls.

Stay away from Sylvania in general and this unit in particular.
