I have been happy with several other HP printers and was thrilled to save some deskspace when the HP 3330 mfp came out by combining my copier and fax into one. I figured the scanning function was a bonus.
Unfortunately, I've been quite disappointed by the HP 3330 mfp:
1) the copier does not copy full width, but leaves between 1/4" and 1/2" on each side uncopied. That's not good enough when I need to be able to read what's in the margins after I copied something.
2) the scanner's quality was poor. When scanning in the same shade of color, the color on the screen was no longer the same....
3) I share a phone line for my home and fax. The idea is that the answering machine picks up all calls, and when it's a fax, the 3330 mfp recognizes this and picks up. Usually that's how it actually works out (that's good), but sometimes the 3330mfp just ignores the fax. I always wonder what opportunities I missed out on when I have a series of beeps on my answering machine.
