I have owned a 1200 ED for quite a while, and have never had a problem with it. The 1200 ED, was a replacement for the 600 III EP PLUS I used TO DEATH! (Bulb burned out, because of a driver bug, that didn\'t turn off the light properly)...An interesting use I have discovered for the 1200 ED, is scanning old black and white NEGATIVES I saved from my Childhood. It is a process you won\'t find in the instructions, but I have RECREATED the memories I lost with the photos from those old negatives. All in all, it is a GREAT SCANNER, and I only paid 49.95 for it at wally world! I would recommend this scanner to anyone for general use. A bit SLOW, but GREAT PICTURES, and very economical!
