AVOID SAMSUNG AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!09/16/09

Great looking cabinet

Terrible issues with picture within 1000 hours of use

I have a 42" Samsung Slimline that started showing purple haze clouds all over the screen at just under 1000 hours of use. This plasma is supposed to be good for 10,000 hours!! After doing the research I realized I should have done my homework. There are many Samsung "owner" blogs chronicling the many many problems with ALL Samsung models. Never again. Spend the extra cash and get the Sony.
