The ipod mini is an amazing product. Albeit, the price may be a little affronting, it is well worth it once you start using it. The physical size of the player is twice the size of a flash model, but holds over 900 more songs than a flash model can, and the flash models are a little too small to clip anywhere, and still be able to control with ease. The rechargable battery lasts a little longer in the mini than the 15 gig ipod, but time will tell how the battery will deteriorate. Over time, apple would be wise to allow WMA format to be played on ipods in general, if not to sell more ipods, just to hush the naysaying hippocrites who blast AAC as being inflexible. For now, ipods do not play wma, so don't buy one if you download from Napster or other pay sites. On the other hand, ipods interact with iTunes, a great jukebox for pc and macs that will allow you to burn any track you download into it, as per windows media player, which is very restrictive.
