Love the true black and white10/03/08

Pros:

Print quality is exeptional & it prints true b&w

Cons:

Drinks ink like a drunken sailor.

I purchased mine new on ebay over a year ago for $600, which was a real steal. It worked really good until a month ago when I noticed a plastic piece laying loose in the bottom. Contacted Epson for help and they were no help at all once they found out that it was out of warranty. Told me to contact an authorized service agent for repairs. I just wanted a parts diagram to see where the piece went. Fortunately, I found one on line and was able to fix it my self. I have been buying bulk ink on line and installed refillable cartridges and can't tell any difference in print quality. I do a lot of black and white prints and love the output on 13 x 19 enhansed matt paper. It's a great printer and I have only had the one problem with it.
