I have been very pleased with my LCD17. The display is clear and VERY bright. Unlike some earlier large TFT displays you dont need to turn the brightness and contrast up too far before the monitor looks good even in bright conditions.

The OSD is fine. Its aranged in a square (why?). But after you get used to it, it\'s pretty easy to use.

The automatic settings adjustments seem to work well as long as you have a window open and maximised. Sometimes if you don\'t do it this way it will read the desktop geometry wrong. I found that the colors will balance the best if you run the automatic setup gizmo while you have a test screen with colorbars open. The CD contains test programs that will do this. They are intended for other models, but will work just fione for the LCD17 too.

I hope that this display will last many years. There is not a single bad pixel (yet;) and I am glad to no longer be shooting electrons at my eyes.

Now go hear good music!
