lots of automatic features
Cons:
terrible interface, confusing setup

The interface on this scanner is terrible, making it the worst scanner I've ever used in my 12 years of using flatbed scanners. I tried to scan a transparency on my mac and it just froze up the scanner repeatedly. This is a joke.
