Price:
I only have one complaint about the Rio Chiba: the battery cover is cheap and won't stay on. There's absolutely no "snap" to it when you push it in place and it comes out easily. This means you have to keep the unit in its ugly belt clip. Yuck!
On the other hand, it satisfies my two primary needs in a portable music player: audio quality and expandability. Sound quality is outstanding, much better than I expected from the tiny thing. As is typical, the equalizer ruins this signal, but once you turn that off it sounds great.
The SD/MMC card option is really why I purchased this unit over the Creative MuVo2. I'm looking forward to jamming in a 512MB card when it arrives.
