Unreal. I read the above reviews AFTER I bought this piece of junk. I figured 2 out of how many sold around christmas time going bad is pretty good odds. After 1 month and 4 days it stopped recording and stopped reading DVD's created by it. It does read store bought DVD's. I tried calling customer support, but they are in India or Pakistan, so when I tried to explain the problem they insisted that I mishandled it and damaged it. Thank heaven for
Best-Buys' protection plan for the additional 30 bucks.
