Sony Ericsson after Nokia1159121543

Pros:
The camera is great and with autofocus is useful for document capture
Cons:
The Sony influence - non standard connectors and Sony memory cards

This is a great phone and I've enjoyed using it. I've been a Nokia fan for years but their recent offerings seemed clunky and boring. The 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus was the unique feature that attracted me to this phone - and I have not been dissapointed with camera performance. I bought a 1 gig memory card with the phone and it gives lots of space for photos and other things.

The main negative that I have encountered is that the phone connections and memory card are very specific to Sony Ericsson. I would prefer the mini USB data connection as used by Motorola (and lots of MP3 players - for combined charging and data transfer. I would also like a standard headphone socket so that I can use my noise cancelling headphones on a plane.

The softeware bundled with the phone is a nightmare to load on a PC - I still do not have full functionality for file transfers with the supplied USB data and charging cable. On the positive side, the synchronize with Outlook functionality works well and may be as good as it gets.
