The picture quality of the LT40FH96 is outstanding. When I read the other reviews about the lamps going bad on this set, I hope it is a isolated problem with a few sets. In reading other reviews on other forums about the JVC LT40FH96, it's nothing but positive. I for one, love this HDTV and when I receive my HD-A1 DVD player next week, this TV will really shine.
