As I was reading in the last review, I to got the deal at 1,200.00. Also got a lg dvd up-conversion player. Picture looks great watching dvd's. I didn't get the warranty plan because I got one before on a rear projection tv and never used the warranty. The bulbs in DLP tv's are easy replaced by the consumer. (Even shown in the owner manual) And most warranty plans don't include bulb replacement. Instead of getting the warranty I suggest you put the money u would of spent on one in a banking account. And use that money on your own repair man if your t.v. breaks. Bottom line on this t.v. best value i've seen so far. I say skip the warranty but that's for u to decide.
