Price:
My Wife and I looked at several HDTV’s and settled on the Vizio. We liked the picture and the price. It’s true that the black doesn’t seem too deep but you won’t notice at all after you get it home because there aren’t any others to compare it too, and does it really matter?
This TV looks good in 480 or 1080. The down side is that one time we turned on the cable box with it on an HD channel and THEN turned on the TV it seemed to get stuck and we didn’t see a picture for several seconds. After waiting for a while we tried to turn it off then back on but couldn’t. I eventually got it back on after I unplugged it. We simply make sure that we turn it on first, no problem. I personally like all the inputs for it. There are 2 of each kind HDMI, video, S-video, and VGA. Selecting between them with the remote is a snap; there is a button for each type. The review said that the remote wasn’t back lit but it is and it’s a good universal remote that is some times a little ‘glitchy’ you sometimes have to press a button twice to get what you want done but other than that it works great with our DVD and cable box.
The pro’s out way the few con’s I have mentioned here. It’s a great TV for the price.
