Well, it's not free

We picked up one of these for out 7 year old, and I loaded it up with a bunch of her music, and she hasn't put it down since.

She doesn't use the earbuds much, and just uses the internal speaker (which is plenty loud)

The design in very intuitive, and she is really liking the options of twisting the ring to change tracks, or shaking the thing.

I've listened in, and the music comes out very clear. It's also very kid oriented. No matter how loud they turn up the music, when they plug in the earbuds, the volume drops down to a safe level.

I can't say enough about these...Props to Sandisk, and we'll be getting another one soon for our 4 year old.
