I was lucky enough to get a great deal on mine (saved over $700) but I otherwise would not have spent so much $$ on this or any laptop. This shipped very quickly (9 days after ordering). So far the comp runs great, and it seems very Mac-like in terms of the monitor, keyboard, ports, etc. I was disappointed at first that it lacked the usual amount of ports, but then realized that I don't need the traditional monitor and printer ports anymore anyway. This has so many little features too, I'm still discovering new things!
