Last-Minute Father's Day Gift Ideas

Okay, it's officially last minute for deciding and choosing Father's Day gifts. So in keeping with tradition, here are some last-minute ideas, some tech, some low and no tech.
The gift of music. If you've got the cash, and think Dad might like his own MP3 player to enjoy, go with either an Apple iPod nano or the SanDisk Sansa Connect, which would allow him to listen to and wirelessly buy all kinds of music via a Yahoo! Music subscription. If he's strictly a CD man, burn one for him with some new tunes you think he'd like.
Digital camera. The most expensive thing on this last-minute list, the Canon PowerShot SD600 IS Digital Elph is a can't-miss choice for excellent photos with simple-to-use features. It slips into a pocket and makes taking consistently great pictures of the kids nearly effortless.
One remote: If Dad hasn't made the leap to consolidating a family room full of remotes into one remote, the Logitech Harmony 880 is a good choice. It's not the latest remote technology, but that also means it isn't the most expensive. (Figure about $250) Using a PC and the web, it is fairly easy to program.
Do something for him. Sometimes the best gift is noticing what Dad does to make home life keep chugging along, and then offering to do it in his stead. Mow the lawn. Take out the garbage and recycling for a month. If you don't live near your Dad, you can promise to do a few things to help out around the house on the next visit—then follow through!
Something simple. As I wrote in this post on making last-minute T-shirts with my daughter's classmates, kids (and adults) can make a unique, personal T-shirt for Dad quickly and easily with help via the web. Check out the book "Being There" by Eric Mirlis (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1599210274/104-5940826-6106361?ie=UTF8&s=books). 100 sports broadcasters and journalists talk about the Top 5 sports moments they have seen in person. It is a great read for any sports fan.

I think that another GREAT gift idea for fathers day is a new plasma tv for dads who like sports. You can never go wrong with a big screen to watch sprots on with a great sound system.

Its a helpfull idea Iam pretty sure that help someone, but there is more simples ideas for last minute father gift , and more important that anithing is share this important day whit your father you could invite him to a restaurant and have a nice dinner with him and tell him how important he is for you.

I feel that for people who can't afford a plasma tv or other more pricey gifts that doing things is a great choice but also they can make things (not only for children adults can too)Like if they couldn't afford a really nice dinner, they could cook dinner or if they have a skill they are really good at they could make something their father would like such as A costomized grill set and if the gift is just a card or gift certificate it is fun to hide it and print out a treasure map of the house to have your father find it, What guy doesn't want to play pireate? Theses are just a few things I did that my father liked.

In the "low tech" category (in other words if you are able to purchase something online you are in good shape), there is an interesting site www.excitations.com that focuses just on experience gifts like skydiving, race car driving, vineyard tours and stuff like that.
