You probably think I'm obsessed with spying tools, but sometimes I just can't believe how blatantly they market these gizmos to suspicious spouses or worried parents—as if people didn't have enough problems. Last week, I told you about the sneaky SIM Card Spy, and this week another spying gadget entered my radar, this one is appropriately named GPS Snitch because it helps people track anything they want, including their loved ones.
Register Hardware says the self-contained unit can be slipped into a bag or car without the owner's knowledge ("Just arm it, hide it, and track it"). Once the device has been planted, the snooper can track the device's location in real-time using Blip's website. The site even delivers SMS messages straight to your mobile phone of its whereabouts, so you don't even have to be near a computer. The GPS Snitch is expensive though, so you better be really motivated about spying on someone. The device itself sells for $399 plus you're required to sign-up for a monthly monitoring package that starts at $15/month. Ouch!

no way. when are people gonna see that that this isn't right? i mean the makers of this product can't be sure whether or not they're selling it to someone who wants to harm people. it's ridiculous.
Watch out for the paparazzi - once they get privy to these types of tools, there will be no stopping them!
now we got to worry about big brother an his perverted uncle !!!!
I will say this is a useful device if the price wasn't that expensive. I want one to put in somewhere with my 4yrs old son, so I don' need to worry about losing him on sight - especially travelling oversea.
one step further-self arming when the item its attached to is stolen and I'm in
Why go to all the expense, most cell phone providers charge $9.00 a month for an additional phone, then subscribe to the GPS monitoring ($9.00 a month). You can then activate (at will) any phone on your account to find their location within 3 meters or less. You can also set up Location points that if they are where they are not supposed to be it will notify tou by text messaging or email. You could also hide it if you wish? Check out Sprint website Y

no way. when are people gonna realize that this isn't right? i mean the people selling this can't be positive that the buyer isn't tracking someone to harm them!!!
