My father had to work two jobs to keep from losing the house, and would use his vacation days from job 1 to work extra at job 2. Needless to say, a co-worker saw him and reported him to his boss. Apparrently a job that pays around 12 dollars an hour with benefits is nothing compared to a 7-dollar-an-hour part-time job. (smell the gooey sarcasm?)
One day, my dad had to take off job 2 early because his stomach was hurting something awful. While my dad was at home, in the bathroom for 10 minutes, his boss comes in and bangs on the door, demanding he get out!! WTF?!
I don't believe in karma perse, but I think I got a little too much pleasure out of the boss' ensuing heart attack (probably especially because it was non-fatal payback).
