I'm an accessory lover, so the first thing I do after purchasing a portable gadget is buy a case for it. When I bought my Asus Eee PC last year, I was disappointed about not being able to find a stylish case for it, so I ended up storing it inside a portable DVD case like this one. Lucky for me (and other UMPC users) Belkin has introduced three new colorful, stylish, and lightweight cases to complement your mini-laptop.

The Quilted ($20) and Mini Laptop ($25) carrying cases are ideal for small 7-inch laptops. Both are made with durable fabric, feature detachable shoulder straps, and overall seem pretty light so they won't weigh you down when you travel. They obviously look very different, but one of the main advantages of the Mini Laptop case are the extra pockets it has outside for extra accessories.

On the other hand, if you already have a laptop case and just want a sleeve to protect your Eee PC from loose items inside your bag, Belkin has introduced the Neoprene sleeve ($13). This small case has a zipper that goes all the way around, and basically protects your mini computer against scratches or bumps. All three are very affordable, and will be available at Target stores in September in jet-set red, plum berry, techno blue, and black.
