They say rock n' roll is an instrument of the devil, but does that mean young
Christians are destined to miss out on the whole Guitar Hero experience forever?
Not if Digital Praise can help it. Instead of waiting for Red Octane to release
a Guitar Hero game packed with Christian songs, which is likely to never happen,
Digital Praise decided to take matters into its own hands by releasing a Guitar
Hero knock-off called
Guitar Praise.
Unlike Rockband, the other Guitar Hero knock-off, Guitar Praise is a PC game that won't be connecting to your Xbox or Playstation. It's compatible with both Mac and PC though, so you can hook up that wireless USB guitar controller, and get your worship on with Christian bands like Flyleaf (also on Rockband), DC Talk, and Casting Crowns not to be confused with Counting Crows.
The fact that it's a Christian game, doesn't exactly make it cheap, so each game bundle will set you back about $99 with additional guitars going for $70 when it goes on sale next month.
Now go tell your Pastor, maybe he'll install one in the church lounge.
