Yes, the presidential debate between Senator John McCain and Senator Barack Obama is on tonight at 9 PM ET, so if you're reading this from work, you better stay put and watch the whole thing unfold online. It appears CBS along with CNET will be streaming the 90-minute debate live on its website, so all U.S. residents can watch from the comfort of their desk. Follow-up live coverage and other web-only exclusives featuring Katie Couric will be broadcast after the debate.

Here are some other places where you can catch the debate online:

  • MySpace will also be streaming the presidential debate live online in an Internet first in collaboration with MyDebates.org. A Spanish version will also be available. You can watch the live stream here.
  • CNN will be streaming the debate live on its site too.
  • ABC  is streaming the debate here. The site has plenty of election coverage, so you can catch up on any missed coverage after the debate.
  • NBC won't be live streaming the event, but you can find plenty of election videos on its site.

If you know of any other links, let me know in the comments below.
